You won't sit through many Christian church services without hearing the expression "Lord" quoted many times. But what does it mean or imply when we as believers call Jesus our "Lord." A few years ago, the Lord Jesus Christ spoke to Mark Michael and told him to, "Teach My People Lordship!" The modern man is so displaced from lordship that statements such as "Jesus is Lord" has very little meaning to us. When the Apostle Paul instructed believers on salvation, he said they must, "Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead..." (Romans 10:9) This scripture shows us that salvation is predicated upon Jesus becoming your Lord! Lordship is not a meaningless word. Contrarily, it places a heavy demand on all those who call Jesus their Lord.
In this book, Mark gives us a clear understanding of what Lordship means and what it looks like when a believer is walking under Lordship. Speaking specifically about Lordship Jesus says to his disciples, "Why do you call me Lord, Lord and do not do the things I say?" (Luke 6:46) Obviously Lordship had meaning for Jesus. The evidence of walking under Lordship are submission and obedience. Mark Michael instructs us on how to walk under Lordship. This book will help you define and appreciate the authority of Christ.
